Junior Achievement of New York, a nonprofit organization that connects corporate and community volunteers with students has received a $110,000 financial boost from ATT
The funds will go to help deliver economic education and empowerment programs to New York City students# in grades K-12.
JA New York is the local affiliate of JA USA.
The presentation was made March 22 at the Department of Education’s Academy of Finance and Enterprise Q264,# at 30-20 Thomson Ave., Long Island City. Junior Achievement provides students #at the school access to programs, which enhance their normal school curriculum, such as the Job Shadow program $— a school-to-work experience.

DeVito who serves as ATT’s vice president and general manager for New York and New Jersey.
The contribution is a result of an annual fund-raising drive among ATT employees, who have worked with Junior Achievement in the past. This year, more than 300 employees of the telecommunications services provider helped to raise a record amount.
