A woman visiting from Japan was shot and injured when a police officer’s gun accidentally discharged, sending a bullet through the floor and into the living room where she was sleeping. Police were searching an apartment at 3003 Clarendon Rd. in Brooklyn’s Flatbush neighborhood on March 29 when the shot was fired. Here, police escorted the victim. (See related article.)
