Himmel + Meringoff Properties has signed City Harvest to a 30,720 square foot headquarters lease at 6 East 32nd Street in New York, NY.
City Harvest will occupy the entire fourth and fifth floors of the building.
David Lebenstein, Senior Managing Director, Principal at Cassidy Turley, represented City Harvest in the lease negotiations of the lease. The building owner, Himmel + Meringoff Properties, was represented by Mark S. Stein of Meringoff Properties.
The Midtown South location at 6 East 32nd Street will allow City Harvest to expand while maintaining access to its 45,400-square-foot food rescue facility in Long Island City. The building is convenient to subway lines, PATH trains, Grand Central Station and Penn Station.
Steve Meringoff, Chairman of Himmel + Meringoff, said a lease is being currently negotiated with another tenant for the remaining two floors, totaling 30,720 square feet, that will bring the building to 97 percent occupancy.
