Sounds cool. LICNYC cannot attest but tell us if you go!

Nope. Different limes at different times. At the Fiesta Crawl, we’re enter more brick-and-mortars that are my best kept secrets. I spend a big chunk of my time scouring the neighborhood for what’s new, and what’s awesome. With only doing the Midnight Crawl, I always felt bad that I couldn’t take people into all the interesting shops that are closed. There’s a lot – this daytime crawl is even more infinite. How is this tour different from all other tours?
I’m not a tour guide, never have been. I’m a local and a food explorer, showing you what I’m learning – not guided by scripts, we talk about what we pass by and what we experience. This isn’t so much about history, as they are about the immigrant experience today. The guide books saying to go to Little Italy are a joke – they should be pointing all tourists right here. Also, my tours are more personal because they are by appointment only. After college, I promised myself no more school: This isn’t an education, it’s an experience.

I was once offered Roosevelt Avenue tours/crawls around midnight only, but that couldn’t last.
Introducing the Queens Fiesta Crawl.
With this crawl, I take people around Roosevelt Avenue, from Jackson Heights to Corona, eating and investigating the neighborhood. We become immersed in the culture of the avenue, eat, and explore for around 3 hours. In the 6 months since I started doing these tours, it’s been incredible how much I’ve learned and the friends I’ve made among the vendors. It keeps getting deeper, as just last week I was in on of my favorite taco vendors apartments trying to help her with $7k in fines so she can get her cart back. The whole experience here is heartwarming and heartbreaking. Walking through Corona is the immigrant experience of the Lower East Side 100 years ago.
