Join the Friends of the Future Hunters Point Library

The future Queens Library at Hunters Point is planned for Long Island City. You are invited to attend an informational meeting about becoming a Friend of the future Hunters Point Library on Tuesday, June 19.

What Does a Friends Group Do?

• Create public awareness and support for the future Queens Library at Hunters Point
• Fundraise for future programming and support of the library
• Work with library staff on legislative advocacy
• Encourage volunteerism
• Conduct community outreach for library cards, programming, and services
