Premier New York City Developer Celebrates Record Velocity in Long Island City, Where East Coast Community Nears Completion
NEW YORK, NY – TF Cornerstone, developer of the innovative East Coast community in Long Island City, today announces that luxury rental building 4615 Center Boulevard has reached 75 percent occupancy in fewer than 12 weeks.
“When we opened for leasing early this spring we expected a strong response, but we could not have anticipated this velocity,” said Sofia Estevez, Executive Vice President of leasing for TF Cornerstone.
4615 Center Boulevard opened in early March to unveil a collection of studios and one- and two-bedrooms. The 367 homes feature an array of upscale finishes including hardwood floors, polished stone countertops and closets with built-ins, and many of them offer private balconies and spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. Designed by award-winning architectural firm Arquitectonica, and setting a new standard for sustainability and environmental-friendliness, the 41-story LEED-certified tower will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 4.5 million pounds.
Residents of 4615 Center boulevard enjoy their own high-tech fitness center, and access to the many green parks and recreation spaces located in the 21-acre East Coast community. The offerings will increase significantly in 2013, when the grand opening of 4545 Center Boulevard will bring another 50,000 square feet of amenities spaces. All East Coast residents will have access to a fully equipped lounge and an expansive landscaped terrace with two tennis courts, volleyball court, putting green, dog run and infinity reflecting pool.
Once the 25-story 4610 Center Boulevard opens in 2013, East Coast will comprise a total of 2,615 rental homes and 184 condominiums.
“With the our site plan nearing completion next year, now is the time to claim your piece of Long Island City’s thriving waterfront neighborhood,” said Estevez, noting that new and exciting businesses, shops and restaurants will also be opening in the East Coast community. What’s more, a new K-8 elementary school, PS-078, is opening in fall 2013 on the same site as 4615 Center Boulevard.
Rentals at 4615 Center Boulevard start at $2,265 for studios per month; $2,730 for one-bedrooms; and $3,620 for two-bedrooms.
