100 Candles for Julia
In celebration of what would have been Julia Child’s 100th birthday on Aug. 15, dozens of cities around the country will present a restaurant week, with more than 100 restaurants featuring dishes based on her recipes or menus. It’s all part of JC100, organized by Alfred A. Knopf, her publisher, and running now through Aug. 15.
