Robert “Bob” Louis Stuono died Oct. 3, at Morris Hills Multicare Center. He was 82.
Born and raised in Long Island City, N.Y., he lived there until getting married and moving to Queens, N.Y., in 1956. He then moved to the Towaco section of Montville Township, in 1967, where he has lived for the last 45 years.
Stuono was a proud U.S. Marine who served during the Korean War. Upon his return from military service, he joined a family printing ink business before beginning a 35 years career with Colonial Ink in East Rutherford, progressing to the position of vice president of sales and marketing. He then worked in sales for Union Ink until his retirement in 1995.
Stuono is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Coco) Stuono; his children, Robert Stuono and his wife, Susan, Michael Stuno and his husband, Jeff Pervorse, John Stuono, and Carl Stuono and his wife, Cheryl; his sisters, Marie Rose and Louise Sarandrea; his grandchildren, Michael Camisi, Mark Camisi, Melissa Stuono, Megan Stuono, Jamie Stuono, Tayklor Stuono, Nic Stuono, and Imonie Pervorse Stuno; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Louis Stuono and John Stuono.
