Famous Food Blog GrubStreet  picked up on our Inauguration Party with this: The Long Island City bar is celebrating what makes America special: whiskey! All bourbons are half off, and the signature Bacon Bourbon Whiskey Sour (with bacon-infused Bulleit, egg whites, and maple syrup) is on $5 special through the evening. Not only is he going to be featured as one of the Best Chefs in America in this book, but he is also honored that he was asked to cook at the James Beard House January 27th! We’ll be offering our regular Dinner Menu, but in addition we’re creating some amazing specials. Ommegang Beer Pairing Dinner Thursday, January 24, 5:30 to 10:00pm $55 per person Thursday is one of our best Beer Dinners yet! For one night, revered Cooperstown Brewery Ommegang will be taking over 5 drafts with some special brews; and Chef Ian Kapitan will pair the beers with a 5-course tasting menu.
