EAST GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (WABC) —
A Long Island woman accused of selling hot dogs and herself, was apparently at it again.
47-year-old Catherina Scalia, A.K.A. “Hot Dog Hooker”, allegedly visited a hotel in East Garden City in her hot dog vending truck.
Police say while she was in the hotel, she massaged an undercover detective. She then also allegedly offered to perform a sexual act for an undetermined amount of money.
That’s when Scalia was placed under arrest.
Scalia is charged with Unauthorized Practice and Prostitution.
She was previously arrested back in May 2012 for prostitution. She served a seven-day jail sentence and was released in June 2012.
