Owen Wilson makes his way across 34th Avenue to film a scene of Squirrels To The Nuts at Punta Dura Restaurant. The new comedy, Squirrels To The Nuts, was filmed on the streets of Long Island City in front of the Gazette offices on 34th Avenue and 42nd Street on July 24 and 25 at Punta Dura Restaurant. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, the film is set to premiere in 2014 and is written and directed by Hollywood legend Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show and Paper Moon).
The plot of the film involves a married Broadway director who falls for a prostitute-turned-actress and works to help her advance her career.
The film also stars Cybill Shepherd, Eugene Levy, Richard Lewis, Kathryn Hahn, Imogen Poots and Austin Pendleton.–Jason D. Antos
