A six-story building will soon add 59 new rentals to Long Island City’s ever-growing stock of new housing. Developed by Ekstein Development, the building sits at 46-09 11th Street, and twenty percent of the units will be affordable. The marketing team at MNS told Brownstoner that the rentals will be ready for occupancy this spring, and ‘Stoner’s most recent photo of the site (above) shows that things appear to be on schedule. The site was previously occupied by a two-story warehouse, but it was demolished when Ekstein bought the site in 2010. The new building’s amenities include the standard bike storage, rooftop deck, fitness center, storage units, and a garage.
