A knife-wielding man attacked a 36-year-old woman in Long Island City, struggled with her briefly and then fled with her purse, police said Tuesday.
Cops released video of the March 16 attack at 38th St. and 28th Ave. that shows the man pounce on the woman from behind with a knife in his hand around 1:35 a.m. Their shadows can be seen in the video as they struggle.
The man fled in a black vehicle with her purse, cops said. The woman didn’t report any injuries.
