One Tuesday, more than 50 restaurants and food distributors were represented at the 9th Annual Taste of LIC sponsored by the Chocolate Factory.
Though rain clouds hung low, spirits were high as hundreds of Long Island City residents, business owners and visitors crammed into a 900-square-foot tent for one of the neighborhood’s biggest events of the year.
Favorite foods included hush puppies from 1682 French Louisiana, oysters with caviar from Riverview Restaurant and gazpacho with bread soaked in duck fat from LIC Market.
