Long Island City, N.Y.—Modern Spaces has teamed with BLU Realty Group to market The Madison, a nine-story luxury building in Long Island City.
“The Madison is a modern building, our company is called Modern Spaces, it has a sense of design which has been what we are about,” Eric Benaim, Modern Spaces’ CEO and president, tells MHN. “It’s in an area of Long Island City that is rapidly being developed, it’s walking distance to seven subway lines and only five minutes from Midtown.”
Located at 42-77 Hunter St., the building consists of a mix of one- and two-bedroom homes and is currently 30 percent sold. The building was developed by JMJ Contracting and interiors were designed by Autograph by Modern Spaces, the firm’s interior design division.
“It’s a boutique building, with modern finishes—polished concrete flooring, exposed concrete columns, and Italian Pedini kitchens,” Benaim says. “Plus each unit has a balcony and many offer views of the city.”
The Madison offers expansive homes with sprawling views of Manhattan. Kitchens also include Quartz countertops and Bosch stainless steel appliances. Bathrooms are designed with Delta showers, Duravit, Delta Linden Monitor 14 series tubs, and Pedini lavatories with Kohler alteo faucets.
Building amenities include a gym, roof deck, virtual doorman and garden.
“Long Island City is one of the hottest neighborhoods to live in right now and The Madison is truly a stand out property in this vibrant neighborhood,” Benaim says. “This development will appeal to the discerning buyer looking for a spacious home with luxurious finishes.”
The building is close by to the new mini supermarket and eatery, Cranberry, and just one block away from future new Food Cellar location. There’s also a dry cleaners located next door and there are many banks, restaurants, and local hangouts in Court Square.
One-bedroom residences start at $500,000. Buyers at The Madison will also receive a tax abatement.
