New Jersey’s Asian and Indian communities in Middlesex County can now breathe a sigh of relief. Middlesex County Prosecutors have just announced that the home invaders that were specifically targeting Asian and Indian households are now under arrest and awaiting trial. There were four individuals arrested in the case, they are being charged with a whole list of violent home invasion charges in South Plainfield, Old Bridge, and Edison.

Governor Christie was also on hand to show support for the troops and to welcome President Obama to the Garden State. President Obama was there not only to thank the men and women that protect and serve our country, but also to report that there are new developments, or a turning point as he said, with the security in the Middle East.

Hector Ferrer has been fighting to get a nativity scene and Christmas tree lit and displayed next to the Menorah and other decorations outside the municipal building, but the township has resisted.

It’s been over two-weeks since 21-year-old Shane Montgomery went missing in Manayunk, Pennsylvania. As Chasing previously reported, Montgomery was with friends at Kildaire’s Irish Pub before he was asked by a bouncer to leave after bumping into the DJ booth shortly after 1:00am. There is still very little information as to where he may be despite large community involvement and a $65,000 reward.
