Long Island City has a new brokerage firm.
Dubbing itself “a modern real estate brokerage with traditional ideals of client service,ˮ MiLL RE has opened its first New York City office at 35-11 36th Street.
Broker Jermain Miller decided to build his own firm from scratch after years of closing deals in Queens working for other firms.
Miller believed that the New York City brokerages that did have systems, branding and technology, didn’t look at Queens as an area to spend their time and resources, while the small, established brokerages and single brokers in the area weren’t keeping up with the needed modern tools or the level of client interaction that customers now expect.

“I set out to build one that did it all, while keeping it a personal boutique team,” said Miller.
MiLL RE is a member of REBNY and MLS and has 12 agents. Miller said the firm will grow as he “meets individuals that would continue to enhance the brokerage ideals.ˮ
The firm focuses on Long Island City, Astoria, Woodside, Forest Hills, Ditmas Park, Sunnyside and Rego Park and parts of Brooklyn, handling residential re-sales and rentals, new construction projects, as well as select commercial transactions.
The brokersage joins Halstead, Nestseekers, Douglas Elliman, Modern Spaces, Space Market Shop and Dream Property now operating in LIC.
