LONG ISLAND CITY, Queens — Two women are wanted for shoplifting more than 96 shirts and tank tops from a GapKids store in Long Island City, police said.
The shoplifters visited the GapKids store at 31-02 Steinway St. on May 14 around 11:20 a.m., according to police. They walked around the store and shoved about 96 shirts, worth $1,392, in their purses.
The women then left the store without paying.
The first woman was last seen wearing a tan shirt, black pants and brown purse.
The second woman was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans and a black and tan purse.
