On Tuesday, Jan. 10, Long Island City’s High School of Applied Communication celebrated its first “Community Appreciation Day.”
The event was held to promote camaraderie while also recognizing both professional and academic success during the year. Students wrote goals that they’ve set out to achieve, which were displayed on a huge bulletin board. They also enjoyed the food and interaction that were present during the celebration.
