Long Island City’s Packard Square development has been in the works for over a decade, long enough to witness many of the major changes that have come to the neighborhood. Now after so many years, the project is finally coming to a close as rentals in its last building at 41-29 24th Street hit the market. The building goes by the oh-so-original name Packard Square West, where apartments currently listed on StreetEasy range from a $2,300 studio to a $4,220 two-bedroom.
Packard Square West is just one of four buildings in the development’s master plan, which started leasing in 2008 and includes 399 apartments in total. The buildings will be linked by an interior courtyard that’s currently under construction, a promised respite from the noisy street just north of the Queensboro Bridge approach.
The 79 apartments of Packard Square West include studios priced from $2,000, one-bedrooms from $2,700, and two-bedrooms from $4,000. A new batch of photographs show off the building’s interiors, which include GE stainless steel appliances, polished chrome Hansgrohe fixtures in the bathrooms, and nine-foot ceilings.
Renters have access to a shared rooftop with barbecues, on-site parking, a gym, a doorman, and the aforementioned landscaped courtyard. Take a look at the new rentals, listed with Citi Habitats, below.
