In Long Island City, many new rental developments are on the rise but few are as amenity-packed as the Lightstone Group’s 10-story, GKV Architects-designed building that has taken shape at 30-02 39th Avenue. ARC, as the building has been named, will offer 428 studios, one-, and two-bedroom apartments and virtually every amenity under the sun. For the first time, there are renderings that give an idea as to what prospective tenants can expect.
As we previously reported, the individual apartments have been furnished with wide plank hardwood floors, nine-foot-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary open kitchens, and washer/dryer units. Judging from the renderings, some of the apartments, particularly those on the higher levels, will enjoy stellar views of the Manhattan skyline. Prices will go from $1,800/month for a studio, $2,300 for a one-bedroom, and $3,500 for a two-bedroom.
ARC’s laundry list of amenities includes a 5,000-square-foot fitness center, a yoga and spin studio, a catering kitchen, library, co-work spaces, resident’s lounge, 24-hour concierge, valet parking, and a year-round greenhouse. If you thought this was all, well there is more: on the roof there is a 70-foot-long saltwater rooftop pool with barbecues and bocce courts; a game room with vintage arcade games, a golf simulator, and a “dedicated outdoor exercise space.”
The building topped out in January and leasing is set to commence on September 5. Citi Habitats New Developments is handling the leasing.
